Your Pet's First Visit
A pet's first visit to the vet can seem a bit daunting, so we've put together a list of info and resources to help you prepare.
At your first appointment, we will gather information about your pet’s background, health, diet, and training. We can also address any questions or concerns you might have.
Your veterinarian will examine your pet from nose-to-tail, looking for things like heart murmurs, ear infections, and/or parasites. Your vet can also provide pet-proofing tips, training assistance, and parasite protection recommendations.

Appointment Policies
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your pet's appointment for check-in. If you have not filled out all relevant patient forms yet, plan to arrive 10 minutes ahead of your appointment.
While we do our best to make sure all of our patients are seen on time, there will be times of occasional unexpected delay due to an emergency or because we are providing care for a patient that needs a little more time. Please accept our apologies should this occur, and understand that the same dedication and courtesy will be provided to your pet should they ever need it.
"I had an emergency with my dog the day before I was supposed to go out of town. I called the office upon opening and they were able to make time for me that same day. I am so extremely grateful that they were able to fit me in, because my dog ended up with a bad eye infection. I would have been out of town with no options and a dog that was in pain. There are many offices that refuse to schedule same-day appointments, or give you a hard time, but not this office! They are amazing and have time set aside for emergency situations like mine. Upon arrival, the nurse was extremely thorough and made sure all my concerns were heard and addressed. Neither the nurse or the doctor rushed our visit (even though it was a last minute appointment). The nurse and doctor were both so kind and calming with my dog, who is typically very nervous and can be snappy with vets/nurses. They talked to my dog in the same voice that I do at home, they were extremely gentle and caring towards her. My dog did not once try to bite or get snappy at all, and I truly believe it's because of their energy towards her and how comfortable they made her feel. I cannot say enough about this vet/office and entire staff. Everyone there is great. I would highly highly recommend! Thank you everyone! -Sara & Sam"
